Care and Cleaning of Freshly Sprayed Cabinetry
Clients often ask about how best to care
for freshly lacquered cabinetry:
Use non-abrasive cleaners like
Simple Green or Greenworks - both
are non-greasy (contain no animal
triglycerides), won't scratch or abrade
and are safe for children if accidentally
handled.
Do not:
Scrub or agitate with steel wool
Do not use Comet or Tide or abrasives
Do not use Palmolive or greasy dish soaps
(leaves an oily film)
If you accidentally scratch a cabinet door
or frame piece, use the touch up qts
provided and lightly scuff the surface
with 220 grit sandpaper prior to re-touching
the lacquer.
Our waterborne lacquer process is so
stain resistant it will take scalding hot
coffee, vinegar, hot water, ketchup
or crayon with no lasting damage.
Note: It takes anywhere from 10-30 days
to achieve hardest cure states on lacquered
millwork and cabinetry.

Acid Etch & Stain Project
Client requested a modern-looking "Disney"
type of effect on his previously boring white
concrete deck - we acid etched and scarified
and applied an effective concrete stain/clearcoat
with an anti-slip aggregate mixed in.
The great thing about concrete stains is that
they never peel, unlike painted concrete
surfaces, the stain penetrates the surface
layer and resists foot and chair traffic wear
and tear. Check out Rust-O-Leum's huge
color selection of textured concrete stains.
The stamped and colorized look is
possible using multiple colour blends.
