We had time for 18 holes on Sunday and caught some
of the Shell Houston Open before leaving West Palm
for Buffalo !

Quick Turnaround Kitchen !

We pride ourselves on being able to turn a small room or

kitchen around fairly quickly.

In this particular project, we needed to remove and replace water

damaged drywall in the kitchen ceiling and also update to a new

kitchen colour. After providing necessary skim coat work and

drywall finishing, we think we came up with a nice result for the

budget. We also removed corroded toilet tank hardware and

updated to a new toilet seat to match the existing bone white.

We counted on Sherwin Williams Zero-Voc Lo-Sheen for

Ceiling Application - a washable zero voc hi-hiding paint for a bright clean look,

and completed all walls with SW Opulence Eggshell, a velvety smooth hi-percentage

acrylic paint with amazing leveling qualities to make aged plaster meet our Level 5

Finishing quality requirements.

The great thing about this project ? We came up with special seniors pricing

to keep the job costs down for a repeat client.

Repaint or New Walls - Aim for Level 5 Finishing

Regardless of whether it is new construction or
residential repainting, ColorScapes always aims
for a Level 5 drywall finish to accept paints and primers.

Level 5 as defined by the Gypsum and Drywall Industry
is the highest quality painted surface free from visible
tool marks, compound ridges from feather passes and
any nicks or spots from high and low spots from tape
coat. Level 5 results in a pleasing aesthetic look to
newly installed drywall or repainted drywall. There should
be no evidence of fastening indentations from nails or
screws.

Great thanks to Todd Pekin for demonstrating his side spraying
skills on a recent reboarding project for ColorScapes Painting.
Todd is using a flat tipped 517 spray tip to apply Sherwin
Williams Promar 200 Hi-Hide Primer prior to topcoat
application.

At current, ColorScapes can only offer 4 week turnaround time between time of deposit, ordering finishes and application/installation. 


Finishing cabinetry is a very detailed project, choosing the right colour,completing the necessary prepwork and shop finishing, and installation all take time. We do not expect our clients to want a rushed look, so we take our time to do them right the first time !


All hardware is labeled, cleaned and removed prior to shop finishing. All colours are available from all major paint companies.All cabinets are shop finish sprayed for a better than original look.

We guarantee our cabinet finishing for 5 years against normal wear and tear.

We use KCMA rated professional finishes, NOT HOUSE PAINT or trim enamels.
We do not recommend Aura or any other Ben Moore trim paint on cabinets - sorry
wrong product to recommend and it will not pass any KCMA test !!! Anyone doing
cabinet finishing should be aware that regular house paints are not ideal for the
conditions found in a busy kitchen environment - professional lacquers are the
only wise choice !

It's Honda Classic Time....!

One of our lucky clients, Mr. Mike Ridley was the recipient of
a trip to the PGA National Golf Resort to see the 2012 Honda
Classic on the Champions Course.


This year we included a free rental vehicle
to enable our clients to experience some of
the finer things West Palm Beach has to
offer(besides being 82 degrees today !).


Woods carded an unbelievable 62 Sunday
while chasing McIlroy...should be a good finish..!
