Snowbound Transformation !

This week we completed another
transformation from aged golden
oak to SW7004 Snowbound, an
effective warm off-white in
AcromaPro waterborne non-yellowing
lacquer. Goodbye 1980's...hello modern
and sharp looking...

We added an open shelf/wine rack insert
with a solid piece of finished Maple for
a nominal fee.

Original cabinets done by Canac, circa 2001.
Shows you the money you can save with
refinishing if the cabinetry is still in sound
condition.

House was on the market for less than 6 days
in North Burlington and sold for 10% over
original listing price.

The average cost of a new maple kitchen installed is
between 9-20,000 depending on options chosen.

The average cost to refinish and change hardware
on cabinetry that is in good condition is 1400-3500
Depending on the size of the kitchen and what finish
is chosen.

There is nothing sadder to see than good quality
legacy woodwork being disposed of in a landfill
when all that it required was refinishing. Even
marine grade spar varnish eventually sun fades
and degrades and should be refinished.

Adding new hardware from Amerock, Richelieu
and Blum can dramatically change the look of
your kitchen when it comes time to sell.
