Kitchen Blackboard...Halloween Reminders

We built this simple

Kitchen chalkboard for

an active family....lists,

shopping, holiday reminders....

Finished in Mission Oak Minwax

With Akvaline Satin Clear 212-40.

Modern Off -White Dove White

Clients chose White Dove

refinishing in a modern off-white

which dramatically brightened the kitchen

and increased visual size.

Expert tile work and drywall painting

by Mark Visheau. We did the

cabinet refinishing and installation of

custom 13" Shaker profile above fridge cabinet

to accomodate larger fridge footprint.

Original cabinetry by Gravelle Woodworking.

Refinishing Canac original Oak AF-55 Sonnet

Transformed into AF-55 Sonnet
a warm off white from Benjamin
Moore finished in AcromaPro
waterborne lacquer.

We also added surface applique
frames for a nominal fee to upscale
the plain looking kitchen bar base.

Cabinets original Canac installed in
1988 still in good condition, original
oak stripped, sanded and 4 coat pass
to get a nice refinishing result.

Clients opted for soft-close Blum
hardware a 28.00 per door upgrade!

Great thanks to the Verhaege Family for the
opportunity to provide a built-in entertainment
cabinet/bookshelf combo.

Total price for the work: $4840.00

Cabinetry doors by ColorScapes custom
sized at 16 x 19" . Hardware by Amerock.
Wainscot back panels finished in NGR
Microton two tone Kona (Becker Acroma).

Ledger Stone Mantle completed by Mac's Tile.

Wall painting by ColorScapes (SW 6134 Netsuke)
Trim: CC-40 Cloud White.
Both products HGTV Home Sherwin Williams Finishes.

Just a quick note to clients considering built-in
cabinetry, payment is required at 50% down
with order, 50% on completion. Built-ins require
6-8 week construction time, finish application,
sandback and adjustment. (NO WALL BUILT IN
ANY HOME IS 100% square !!!)

25 yrs after original install.

We raised the cabinets above the

fridge to accomodate a taller fridge.

The staggered crown mould is a nice

effect.

themed kitchen and the
staircase was that hideous
golden oak from the 1980's...

Risers completed with non
yellowing Akvatopp White
Lacquer and Treads in Dark
Antique Maple stain with
Akvaline waterborne clear
finish.
