circa 1970's staircase from yesteryear...lol !

built-up with two different beaded

Unique striped colourful ceiling
done by homeowner who unfortunately
is no longer with us. We only had to
do minimal invasive surgery on the
ceiling to route the new connections
for lighting. ! Pendant task lighting
is great with two 60w energy efficient
fixtures directed down on counter
for kitchen tasks. Fan combo is modern
twist lock Hampton Bay fan with angled
low-noise fan. It's unreal quiet and effective.

The fun part of this project was completing most
of it during a power outage by Horizon for an entire
day...hey are you giving homeowners free food vouchers
for spoiled fridge food..7 hrs later...unreal.

Cabinetry refinished almost 2 years ago and still looks
like new ! Original Cabinetry by Barzotti installed in
a Phil Bozzo Home.

Door is a Vanguard Fire Rated Steel Door
with Exacto Tumbler Set from RONA.

Cost to install:

1 pot of coffee, 6 advils and
a sense of humour for Murphys Law.
(100km wind gusts day of install !!!)

Ontario Building Code necessitates the
Use of fire rated steel doors on retrofit
to enable fire containment and increased
time to obscuration ( smoke blinding
and flash over). You won't see too many
wood garage entry doors getting installed
anymore for this reason, it gives you a
better chance of escaping a potential fire.

A recent transformation by us up in Guelph...previous
finish was Canac Golden Oak circa 2005. Client
needed a super tough washable waterborne finish
to be pet friendly and resistant to claw scratching at
same time. Cabinetry was sunfaded and high traffic
wear and tear on nitrocellulose clear finish at sink height.

Tell em what he's won Bob...to coin a familiar gameshow host..
22 hours of sanding and prep and spray results in cabinetry
that looks and performs like new. We even clear finished the
high traffic sink cabinetry with Akvaline 212-40 for extra measure
of scuff protection.

Counters look excellent with undermount application
(not done by us).
