Modern Slab Doors for Small Condo Kitchen

Client chose a modern slab 3/4" thick flush door
design with underlip hardware for a clean look in
a small condo. Small kitchens look bigger when
you stay away from too many profiles and raised
panel work, leading to a visual impact in terms
of size. Below counter drawers installed with
Antaro Richelieu soft-close 30kg capacity slides.
(a 100.00 per drawer upgrade !). While not
everyone can justify 100.00 dollar drawer slide
upgrades, don't forget you are also getting a moisture
proof and rot-proof steel box drawer that will not
split from heavy items like kitchen tongs, mallets,
scissors, bbq utensils etc. ! In our opinion, they
are well worth it.

Unique extraction hood from Broan commercial
division installed by ColorScapes. Also note the
drop in Bosch benchmark induction range, these are
becoming hugely popular as they are less costly than
traditional ranges and preserve a working counter
space when the range is not on. Induction ranges
also have a built in sensor to auto shut-off if no
cooking is being done and the range is left on

Westdale Refinish in Style !

Clients chose a classy Sherwin Williams
SW7650 Ellie Gray to refinish badly aged prior
walnut/clear finish. Utilizing our Thoroughsand
approach we oscillated off the prior finish to bare
dry red oak. Removal of prior finish guarantees
excellent adhesion values and gives u that nice
fresh grained look which is very telling of the quality
of hardwood used to build these cabinets. Each door
received approximately 35 min of sanding preparation
and cleaning with methyl hydrate to remove prior
cleaning residues. (41 doors times 35 minutes...hmm
almost 25 hours of sanding preparation !!!). You cannot
knock off a job like this over the weekend - warrior
or not ! It is a process folks and it takes time to get
a nice refinishing result.

For a nominal fee we updated all hinges and hardware
for that modernized look of brushed nickel. We even
added in new custom frosted glass panels for the above
sink doors (All Glass by Clegg Burlington).
