This is such a simple idea, we came up with it
when we noticed some of our clients have
messy Keurig boxes inside their cabinets
with pods all scattered everywhere.
Why not mount a cabinet rail.stile with
pod keepers built in on the inside
of the cabinet door.
As long as you dont have face frame
surface hinges this idea adapts
well to all Euro pocket hinge
doors. There's also no limit
to pod count on either side of the
cabinet rails.stiles ...we can do 6,8 or 12
for each size which will easily save
space inside the cabinet for other
items. You could even fill the entire
back of a cabinet door with a Keurig
Pod Rack, forget using one of these
bulky drawers, they don't fit inside
a standard 12" deep cabinet carcass.
We even put a nice 2/16" chamfer edge
on the pod stile piece to emulate
a standard maple 2.25 rail profile door.
Shown with and without 110 degree
Blum Hinge.
Cost ? Almost nothing - takes 10 minutes
on a router with a setup block for spacing.
Utility ? ....Amazing idea...i'm sure it will
get copied and as usual we will get NOTHING
from the big cabinet suppliers that serve the big
box stores who routinely take some of our ideas
and pass them off as their own....
