West Palm Beach Winter Project

We combined a holiday and some golf with the
above project that backs onto the Intracoastal
Waterway in West Palm Beach,Fla.

Client requested a full exterior repaint (4 days work)
and cabinet painting update to a crisp Arctic White.
(2 days work). Cabinets had been painted prior
with an aged and tired looking melamine alkyd.
We scuff sanded, reprimed and repainted for
a nice clean look to go with the custom sage
green. We also moved and repositioned a corner
cabinet to flow better with a new fridge.

Exterior Repaint Cost: $3750.00
Cabinet Finishing: $1275.00
Cabinet Repair: $90.00

Great thanks to Nicole and Tom R. for the project !

Replacing vinyl or lineoleum is not as straightforward
as one might think due to aged adhesives/glues that
decay on the backing of most tile. Through trial
and error we have found that most vinyl tile
removes easily once heated with a heat gun
and using a sharp lifting scraper. The trick is
to not burn the tile or overheat the surface
and get after each tile after 30-45 seconds
of heat being applied. Tiles will come off
easily and should come off in full squares making
for easy replacement ! The hot water and iron
method is messy and not really an option when
working to preserve the existing underlayment
OSB board.

Great thanks to Valerie D. for the project !
