Kitchen Cabinet Makeovers/Custom Stain Work

We are proud to announce a partnership
with a registered and approved kitchen cabinet
manufacturer/refacer that belongs to KCMA
and makes outstanding solid wood cabinets,
veneers and custom wood storage closet
organizers. This partnership will enable
ColorScapes Painting to bid and install
any cabinet makeover in a kitchen, entertainment
room or closet.

The color choices are outstanding and also
allow for detailed mullions, ropes and decorative
glass lite inserts.

We quote all cabinet refacing per lineal foot.
Lineal foot prices start at 115.00 and go to
approx 187.00 for 2010 prices.

Custom Stain Work - Repair

Client mentioned a need to have some previous stain work
underneath a kitchen counter redone as the color was too
contrived and the clear coat
fogged and moisture blushed.

Removed all existing stain and clear coat with a stripping
agent, sanded all grain with 120 and 220 and restained.

Here we are taping off and sanding the decorative corbels
prior to staining. We used a colour called Modern
Mahogany from ML Campbell's Wood Song II NGR
Wiping Stains Lines for professional finishes. This
colour was an excellent match to the existing Minwax
colour used by PCM builders during the original build.

Lindal Post and Beam

Project: Lindal Post and Beam Home

Strip Wallpaper/Skim Coat and Repaint Kitchen Walls
4 bedroom repaint

Site: Thunder Beach (n. of Midland and Tay Township)

We recently completed a decent sized kitchen and
4 bedroom repaint for the co-owner of Concert
Productions International/SFX Concert Promoters.

Products used include:

  • Pratt and Lambert Accolade Washable Flat
  • ICI Realife Eggshell
  • Ben Moore's Ulti-Matte Acrylic
  • Zinsser 1-2-3 Primer
  • P&L Okene Wood Treatment
Client loves Pratt and Lambert Colours so we did all colours
in Accolade - one of the best washable acrylic paints on the
market ! Pratt and Lambert is an expensive 100% Acrylic
that is now produced by Sherwin Williams Canada and utilizes
Rohm and Haas Rhoplex 200 resin - one of the most advanced
paint resins on the market for interior painting. In the right hands,
its an excellent paint product and stands up to kids, crayon, graffitti,
pets and other abuses better than most paints on the market.

The exterior of the log home is preserved with a product called
Okene by Pratt and Lambert...and was done back in 1996
when I was territory repping for P&L and working paint jobs
on the side to save for my first new home - I do not miss 70hr
weeks....!

Pics to follow once edited. Many thanks to Bill B.
