Ceilings -Airless Spray Perfection

We are currently completing a large condominium in Burlington that
has the added challenge of one heck of a lot of stucco ceiling.!!!

The great thing about airless spraying of ceilings is compared
to rolling, spraying will not flatten the existing stipple finish if it is the small popcorn
type, and of course speed !! You also don't take the chance
of lifting the latex mix and having to use nasty oil based flat
to seal the ceiling prior to latex application.

Once masked, we sprayed a 600 sq ft ceiling in under 12 minutes
without any lap lines, heavy trails or excessive shoulder fatigue
from hoisting a 10lb roller overhead for 2 hrs doing it the
old fashioned way ;)

The client was blown away by the fact that 3 gallons of ceiling
paint were applied in under 12 minutes. We call it production
painting, and if it were not for furniture being in the room probably
could have done it in under 7-8 minutes .

Ceiling was done with a .517 tip at 2300 psi
using CIL Realife Disappearing Dye
Pink/White Ceiling Finish. Cut ins done with
a 217 tip. Note that the pics above show the ceiling repainted with the
old light green wall colour and with the new Spicy Mustard Colour.

Spring Painting Season Arrives Early

Today's temperatures lend themselves well to an
early start to the spring painting season.

Scraping, Priming and Finish coating a rear window
surround/bay window in 17 degree temps is nothing
to complain about !

Ancaster's West End is like cottage in the city
for us and we enjoy coming out this way to work...feels
like a vacation away from the grind of 401-403 drives.
