In progress...Dove White from Honey Maple And an Ultra-White Kitchen and Staircase !

We are currently transforming two Honey Maple kitchens into Dove White Oc-17 and Ultra-White Standard from Acromapro.

In addition we are transforming a large staircase from Golden Oak to Ultra-White balustrades with dark Antique Maple accent rails and King Newell Posts.

We always do risers and rail trim before finishing on the step treads.!

Application by microfiber pad helps
accentuate grain clarity and definition
prior to clear finishing with Akvaline
clear 240. We find Akvaline much tougher
than Fabulon crystal and able to take
harder impacts once cured.

We also did under counter corbels in
the same sharp accent stain as the newell
posts.

Another Cloud White Kitchen

Another popular refinishing colour is
Ben Moore's Cloud White. Of course, we
use super durable semi-gloss waterborne lacquer
To refinish with...it is the right product to
Use and can easily outperform any trim paint.!

Great thanks to Betty and Jurgen for the
project !

Client added tile backsplash/ Shaker Mirror and Bath Cabinetry

Client added a tremendous looking
Stone stagger tile to give the kitchen
A super modern look with Drifting
Snow (Dulux colour) cabinetry Finished by
us back in Early June. We had ourselves a
chuckle on this one because a competitor
tried to tell us you cannot refinish thermofoil...
while attempting to sell the client new cabinets.

Thermofoil is refinish friendly when done
correctly. We also added the undermount
wing cut ballast/valances in a router friendly
maple.
.

Another effective refinishing in
Sherwin Williams Alpaca Grey, accented
with Kohler taps and Amerock Bright Gold
hardware.

Shaker Mirror with encased mirror glass
custom built by Colorscapes. The 4th
glass panel is translucent and has a 4k
Samsung TV behind it for convenient
viewing (22"). Mirror is made of select
Canadian maple in 3" planed and rabbeted
profiles.

Great thanks to both Arlene and Stephanie
for the respective projects.

Glass by Oakville Mirror.

Finish the Cabinetry by Adding Riser Plate and Crown Mould

Adding a riser plate and crown
to finished cabinetry can have a
dramatic effect on adding to the
perception of size in a kitchen.

The fun part ? Ever cut 53 and 59 degree
upside down crown angles ? There
is no such thing as a perfect 45 or
90 degree angle when cabinets are
telegraphing the wall angles....they
dont make a mitre saw with stops past
45 degrees....so you have to back your
crown out from the fence to cut these
types of angles...its kinda like trimming
your beard with hedgeclippers lol...

The riser plates must also have flat
support frames to be straight and anchored
to top of cabinets.
