Current Project: Cabinet Transformation !

Cabinet Finishing Project: Prior Finish - Pine Varnished (Dark Stain)

We post some of our job photos both in progress and completed
to give clients an idea regarding the steps taken to achieve a nice
result...

Existing varnished pine cabinetry (45 count) to be thoroughly deglossed,
sanded and spray finished with Sherwin Williams 6133 Muslin
in our preferred cabinet finishing solution from Becker Acroma.
We DO NOT apply house paint or residential trim paints - we
use a KCMA rated finish for excellent mar and stain resistance.

Counter-tops installed after the cabinet refinishing was completed.

Great thanks to Mike and Patricia G.

West Palm Beach Winter Project

We combined a holiday and some golf with the
above project that backs onto the Intracoastal
Waterway in West Palm Beach,Fla.

Client requested a full exterior repaint (4 days work)
and cabinet painting update to a crisp Arctic White.
(2 days work). Cabinets had been painted prior
with an aged and tired looking melamine alkyd.
We scuff sanded, reprimed and repainted for
a nice clean look to go with the custom sage
green. We also moved and repositioned a corner
cabinet to flow better with a new fridge.

Exterior Repaint Cost: $3750.00
Cabinet Finishing: $1275.00
Cabinet Repair: $90.00

Great thanks to Nicole and Tom R. for the project !

Project: Replacing Vinyl Tile

Total Cost of Kitchen/Living Room/Bath Facelift : $3400.00

Floor Area: 700 sq/ft2 New Tarkett Click Floor
Bathroom Floor: 80 sqft2 New Flooring
Kitchen and Living Room Painting
New Quarter Rounds Bathroom

Turnaround Time : 6 days work

Colours:
Benjamin Moore OC-40 Albescent
Benjamin Moore CC-40 Cloud White (Trim)
Sherwin Williams 6129 Restrained Gold

All paints by Sherwin Williams ProMar Zero VOC

Replacing vinyl or lineoleum is not as straightforward
as one might think due to aged adhesives/glues that
decay on the backing of most tile. Through trial
and error we have found that most vinyl tile
removes easily once heated with a heat gun
and using a sharp lifting scraper. The trick is
to not burn the tile or overheat the surface
and get after each tile after 30-45 seconds
of heat being applied. Tiles will come off
easily and should come off in full squares making
for easy replacement ! The hot water and iron
method is messy and not really an option when
working to preserve the existing underlayment
OSB board.

Great thanks to Valerie D. for the project !
