Refinishing Correctly...

We always sand off prior varnishes and coatings
Because you just don't know what the previous
Owner cleaned the cabinetry with...Pine Sol,
Palmolive and Murphy's Oil Soap are commonly used
On varnished cabinetry and it has to be removed
As it contains animal fat triglycerides which
Prevent adhesion and proper bonding of cabinetry
Lacquer.

Anyone telling you they can refinish your cabinets
While still attached to the hardware is avoiding
Proper surface prep and required sanding.

Country Colour Choices

Client selected a beautiful blue from the
New Ralph Lauren colour palette for 2015.
The colour is very effective against the knotty
Pine tongue in groove ceiling and works well
With the white island bump out counter...a
Great nautical theme for a primary Muskoka
residence.

Kitchen cabinetry finished in deluxe waterborne
non-fading lacquer.Wall colour is 50% strength
Dijon, a warm yellow with sharp tone.

Great thanks to Ken and Olivia for the project
and chance to work up in Gull Narrows, a jewel
of an area in Ontario cottage country.
