Waterborne Lacquer Spray Shop - Lacquer vs Acrylic Paint

Over the last few years we have received a lot
of inquiries about painting kitchen cabinets -
especially aged old oak, builder-type and veneer
surfaces...over the years we have applied
everything from semi-gloss oils, melamines
and waterborne acrylics with a mixture of results.
That being said - the most technically advanced
pigmented waterborne lacquers are the BEST,
hands down !

With a KCMA rating of plus +5, these coatings
resist staining, humidity and repeated washing
better than most car finishes.!!! They meet
VOC Compliance Article 59 for reduction of HAPS
emissions by M.O.E. standards and are much
safer for us applicators to use and apply.
Homeowners can also easily touch up a ding
or scratch with these relatively new products.

We are shocked that some so-called contractors
are still painting people's trim and woodwork
with fast yellowing oil-based and melamine coatings.
Big disservice to your clients who have to repaint
in 16-18 months. !
