As part of our mission to provide top-notch painting services
for clientele, we also aim to educate about which products
are carrying the mantle of best-in-class in light of the new
VOC compliance restrictions placed by the EPA.
Wherever possible we prefer to use products by Sherwin
Williams Paints, a core paint company that is not owned
by anyone else other than Sherwin Williams, invests heavily
in technology improvements in all paint categories and
strives to meet challenges placed forth in meeting the
ZERO-VOC targets for all quality paint products.
While Benjamin Moore is still a great paint-maker, keep in
mind they are a subsidiary of Berkshire-Hathaway, which is
not a paint company at its core. Similarly, ICI Dulux has
recently come under the umbrella of Akzo-Nobel and has
limited focus on the North American market for residential
and professional paint products.
While it remains the opinion of ColorScapes Painting, Sherwin
Williams continues to develop new stores, develop best in class
paint products, and believes in a strong North American
vertically integrated supply channel. With over 3400 stores
in North America, and with everyday preferred client and contractor
pricing, they are no doubt the undisputed king of the paint industry
in more ways than one.
