Our Cabinet Refinishing Process....

Our spray refinishing process is a little complicated
to explain in 1 paragraph, but the results speak for
themselves over old wood grain (1980's golden oak).
Client chose CC-548 Asphalt for the kitchen
island and Cloud White CC-40 (Moore's) for the
main cabinetry. We laid down 4 coats Akvatopp
Semi with 33 psi aircap pressure from a fine finish
gravity gun and sanded between finish coats prior
to final cure on the UV bench. As some clients may
be aware, the new waterborne lacquers are speedily
cured via UV light and are very safe for us applicators
to work with.

And yes, we always remove cabinetry, strip hardware
and spray on the flat. Anyone doing cabinets by
spraying while hung is misinformed and cannot get
the results that we do.

  • No sags, runs or curtains
  • Even film build (only possible on flat spray)
  • Sides receive equal film build
  • Cabinets cure in the proper position

Great thanks to Adam and Julie for the project !
