Current Refinishing : SW 7511 Bungalow Beige

Current project involved Timbermate Grainfill
on aged butcher block oak cabinetry that had
been vandalized by a foreclosure situation.
We assured the client we could make em'
Look like NEW with a little elbow grease
and some high end AcromaPro lacquer.

Note that a grain filler is used to prevent
open pore reveals, but you may still
see grain, which is the nature of oak, there
is NO such thing as 100% filled grain, if you
try to put too much filler on, your doors
will mudcrack as the wood moves in
spring and fall with moisture changes in
humidity. For optimum conditions in your
home we recommend 35-40% r.h. so that
ALL wood surfaces in your home do NOT
dry out. We never exceed a maximum
dry film thickness of 9 mils which is the
upper limit for most wood coatings in
a shop application.
